Movie midnight marathon!

This is what we had late that night. Beerenberg Blue Gum Honey with Costa Rican coffee. We curled up on our sofa and watch "Death Note" and "Ichi the Killer". Adil dozed off halfway through the second movie and so did I. Haz and him watched til 4.30am that night and he ended up not going to work the next day.

Easter Monday

I realize we enjoy cooking together on weekends when both have nothing to do. So today since it's a public holiday and most shops/groceries are closed, we decided to make something for dinner. He made chicken soup, which I had mine with some udon noodles that were on sale today, and he had his by its own. We ended swapping and he finished mine instead 
With lots of strawberries in the fridge from handpicking them at the farm the other day, I decided to try french pudding. It turned out allright but although the recipe calls for brown sugar, I think using castor sugar would have made the strawberries looked nicer.  Nevertheless, the pudding didn't even last 5 hours on the table. All gone!

Hahndorf - Strawberry Picking

Easter holiday has started and we decided to go Beerenberg for some strawberry picking! After hours at the farm, we walked down to Hahdorf city browsing through.

5th Anniversary

|
This is what and where we were celebrating our special day. Adil and Haz joined the journey with us but went our separate ways after. We met in Bracegirdle's and had coffee at Cibo's before they left for home while we linger around enjoying the beach.
We walked on the beach while waiting for sunset then headed to Gringos for some Mexican food for dinner. As the night falls in and people bustling in and out of the bars and clubs, we headed home.
It was just perfect.

Our baby, our treasure

We are both excited with the new arrival baby. Our precious treasure.  It's a Spanish Almansa Guitarras guitar. It's a solid top guitar and we were so excited (and tired) that we kinda left after Haz opened her presents.
Today is also Haz's BBQ birthday party. There are more pictures in Haz and Adil's camera and soon to be updated! Happy Birthday Haz!!

Finally I get to visit where he spends 7 - 8 hours daily on weekdays. It's still empty but soon will be filled!!  My next project. 
Oh yea, he also attempted some shots.

Fettucine Meatballs with Tomatoes and Herbs pasta

This is a new creation by me which perhaps have been created by some Italians long time ago hehe but nevertheless, I have no idea what I'm doing until it turned up to be this 
But it was tasteful and colorful. I added my own kitchen herb grown basil and tomatoes to it and it was scrumptious! Of course, he absolutely loves it too!

Tuna and Brie Quiche

This is first attempt to using Brie cheese. It's so yummy! We had this for dinner.
I got this recipe from one of my Super Food Ideas mags stuffed under my bed. The brie is rather salty and is a semi soft cheese so it just adds that little tangy hit to the quiche.

Along Nie's house warming

Along Nie just move into a crib and since I'll be leaving in 2 days, we all decided to have a get together and house warming. There are those not able to attend but with us and the kids around, it's sufficient to fill up the apartment.
